What the heck is a MOGRT?

MOGRT is a file format (.mogrt) that stands for MOtion GRaphics Template. Mogrt’s were developed by Adobe to bring After Effects driven animations into Premiere Pro as editable files. You do not need to open After Effects at all to use and edit SuperMOGRT.

What video editing software is SuperMOGRT compatible with?

SuperMOGRT is ONLY compatible with Adobe Premiere Pro CC. The template is delivered in a .mogrt file format that can only be opened in Premiere Pro.

What versions of Premiere Pro are required?

SuperMOGRT is only compatible with the latest Adobe Creative Cloud versions of Premiere Pro. Select SuperMOGRT features require Premiere Pro CC 2021+. SuperMOGRT is NOT compatible with Premiere Rush.

Do I need to use After Effects?

No. You DO NOT have to open After Effects at all. Text and animations are entirely editable inside the Premiere Pro Essentials Graphics panel.

Adobe CC may prompt some users to have After Effects installed on their machine, but an active license is not required. If your system requests AE be installed, you can use your Adobe subscription to install AE on your machine. If your Adobe subscription does not include AE, you can install the Trial version and your mogrt files will still work in Premiere Pro.

Can I layer multiple SuperMOGRT effects?

Yes. You can use as many SuperMOGRTs in your project as you want. We highly recommend experimenting and playing with multiple stacked SuperMOGRTs to create even more dramatic and cinematic looks.

Can I use on Mac or PC?

Yes to both. SuperMOGRT works everywhere Premiere Pro CC works.
